About the service
RooBook is a private library service that structures books (PDFs) you add yourself and provides full-text search, citation, and note features. Through the Slack and MCP (external AI clients connecting via an MCP server) integrations, you can access your own book data.
Accounts
You must register a RooBook account to use the service. You are responsible for managing your account information, and you may not transfer or share your account with any third party. With the Slack integration, each Slack user links and uses their own RooBook account.
Your data
Rights to the book data and notes you add belong to you. Add only books you are entitled to use. Book data you add is searched and referenced only as your private library and is never shared with other users.
Prohibited conduct
- Adding or sharing data that infringes copyright or other third-party rights
- Unauthorized access to, or placing excessive load on, the service or integrated services
- Attempting to access other users’ data
- Use that violates the law or public order and morals
Changes to and suspension of the service
We may change, suspend, or end the service without notice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from changes to or suspension of the service.
Disclaimer
The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of fitness for a particular purpose or of continued availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages resulting from loss of your data, or from outages or specification changes on the side of integrated services.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be changed as needed. If you continue to use the service after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised terms.
